“Do not be afraid. Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be for all people. Today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, which is Christ the Lord . . and suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly Host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!'” Luke 2:8-20 NAS.
All the comments that I or others may share about the Christmas story could not add to the beauty and simplicity of the Bible narrative on this Christmas morning 2009. The message rings as clear today as on that first Christmas in Bethlehem – “good tidings of great joy . . for there is born for you a Savior, which is Christ the Lord!” May Jesus be the source of your joy and center of your celebration as you gather today because your Savior was born.
May your day be blessed and your celebration of Jesus be without restraint!
A Joyous and Blessed Christmas, Pastor Allen and Gayle Randolph, EveryDay Life Ministry
